Chris Gilmore
Executive Producer, Casting Director, Set Coach, and Teacher
Ms. Gilmore has been a highly respected acting teacher in Hollywood for many years. She teaches Method Acting, Meisner technique, comedy improv, and on-camera techniques for film and television. She has taught thousands of acting students of all ages, many of whom have gone on to star in movies and on television.
Chris has been working in the entertainment industry for over 40 years; first as a child star in films, television and on Broadway, and then as an award- winning casting director, writer, co-creator, and producer. She has worked with many highly successful producers, directors, and production companies in the entertainment industry. These include but are not limited to Paramount, Universal Studios, NBC, CBS, Twentieth Century Fox, Fox Television, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, and Disney.
As an acting teacher of over 30 years, Chris has coached thousands of actors. Chris teaches actors scores of different skills for acting on-camera for movies, television and commercials. As a teacher, she works with each adult or kid actor on an individual basis to build their skillsets as actors and empower their creative spirits.
As a parent herself, Chris brings to her teaching, her compassion and respect for kids and teens as the future of the world. Whether coming to class to train for stardom, or simply to build confidence, or learn memorization techniques, all kids and teens can benefit from her excellent teaching. Chris’ style of teaching is empowering and fun while not compromising on the focus and discipline necessary for advancement.
Leo Gilmore
Associate Producer, Award-Winning Casting Director, And Teacher
Having grown up in the entertainment industry, Leo brings his knowledge and experience to his teaching.
Leo earned his first acting job when he was 6 years old and recently co-starred in a feature film which will be out in theatres next year. Working in the family casting business, and with a vast knowledge of acting techniques and a good eye for quality actors, Leo has won the highly respected Silver Telly Award for casting.
Over the past 16 years, Leo has participated in and has co-taught acting classes along with Chris. As a valuable addition to the staff, Leo’s style of teaching is empowering, playful and fun for kids and teens of all ages.
